Registering a Guest House on the TourCMR App.
The registration for Guest Houses on the TourCMR App is based on the selected package for a particular rating. Packages offered by TourCMR vary based on the amount paid for position ranking. The higher you pay, the higher visibility you get from your potential clients.
We have two main packages which you can select from, we have the African Cup of Nations (AFCON PACKAGE) which runs for the AFCON period and ends exactly after the end of the African Cup of Nations 2021, and the YEARLY PACKAGE which is merged with the AFCON package for 12 months after date of registration.
Types of packages
TourCMR Diamond is the first package offered by TourCMR for guest houses. It offers a Guest House the best premium benefits as the only Guest House with the first position ranking for the selected town.
The Guest House with this package will feature as the first Guest House in the list of Guest Houses in that town and also as the first in the list of Nearby Guest Houses in that particular location.
That is when a tourist uses this App and clicks to find a Guest House around his location, the first Guest House that shows up with all its information is the Guest House with this package. Guest Houses with this package are the first most ranked Guest Houses all across the different sections of the Application.

Guest houses with this package are the third most ranked Guest houses all across the different sections of the Application.

TourCMR Regular is the normal package offered to Guest Houses. It starts from the 4th position of the App and it follows the rule of first come first serve which means starting from this position the Guest House that pays the standard fee first takes that position and the others follow.
This package offers a Guest House the advantage to feature as the Guest House on the TourCMR App and can be found by any tourist using the App which meets their desired standard.
The Guest House with this package will also feature on the list of Guest Houses for that town and feature as in the list of Nearby Guest Houses in that particular location and nearby Guest Houses around all tourist sites in that location.
That is when a tourist uses this App and clicks to find a Guest House around his location, the Guest House with this package will show up on the list with all its information and the position ranking will depend on how fast the Guest House pays to secure a position from the 4th position.

How to proceed with Registration?
Step 1: Call and Confirm your selected Package Order.
Step 2: Pay the Amount for your Package.
Pay the amount for the package you have chosen e.g., 5 million FCFA for TourCMR Diamond to the following United Bank for Africa Details.
Step 3: Compile the Necessary Information.
Guest Houses on TourCMR are registered with all their information solely by the TourCMR Team.
The written information will be provided in a word document while the other information like images, videos will be provided in a portable storage device like a flash drive.
The information needed will be provided as follows;
- Guest House Name: This is the name of the Guest House e.g., Mont Febe Guest House.
- Location Name: This is the name of the location of a Guest House g., Mont Febe, Yaoundé.
- Longitude and Latitude Location. Get the latitude and longitude location of the exact spot in which your Guest House is located. For example
- Latitude: 87807
- Longitude: 51642
- Average Price: Give the Average cost range for a Night at your Guest House for example 45000 – 100,000 XAF / per Night.
- Images: 10 high-quality images of the Guest House which bring out the beauty will need to be provided in a portable flash disk.
- Up to 5 videos in both English and French (App is a bilingual Application) that bring out the beauty of the Guest House can be provided as well in a flash disk or the YouTube URLs if the videos are already uploaded to YouTube.
- Contact Information: Contact information such as 2 phone numbers, official email, and website (if available) should be provided so tourists can easily contact your Guest House.
- Popular Amenities: A list of Popular Amenities which makes this Guest House stand out should be provided as well for example A swimming Pool, Spa, Free parking, Fitness center, Air-conditioned, etc.
- Description Details: A short and comprehensive description that brings out the beauty of a Guest House should be provided to sell out the Guest House to tourists.
- Social Media URLs. Provide links for your different social media handles such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Travel Guide: Travel Guide is the feature that provides tourists with the itinerary (step by step guide with cost estimates) from the closest airport to your Guest House location.
An example of an itinerary for Mont Febe Guest House with average cost estimates is as follows;
- Arrive at Yaoundé-Nsimalen International Airport.
- Yaoundé-Nsimalen International Airport to Mont Febe Guest House by Taxi Average cost 5000 XAF.
